Aadhithya School recently held a yoga event for its students to promote physical and mental well-being. The event, which was led by a certified yoga instructor Mr.Krishnan Balaji, was attended by students from all grades.

The yoga session started with very easy simple mudras suitable for kids, followed by a series of yoga poses and breathing exercises. The instructor guided the students through each pose, emphasising the importance of proper alignment and breathing techniques.

The students were visibly engaged and enthusiastic throughout the session, and many of them commented on how relaxed and energised they felt afterwards. Some even expressed interest in taking up yoga as a regular practice. He stressed the importance of doing yoga which could help kids in developing physical strength, flexibility, and balance. It also improves concentration, self-confidence and self-esteem

The event was a great success and a testament to the school's commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles and holistic education. The school plans to hold more yoga sessions in the future, and hopes to inspire its students to continue practising yoga and other forms of physical activity.
